In 1996, our Chairman, M.Y.M. Akram, launched the Mam Farm House Pvt Ltd with a modest flock of just 1,000 chickens in a backyard in Puwakgaha. What began as a single-location poultry operation, grounded in hard work and a relentless commitment to quality, grew steadily through the late 1990s and 2000s.

As the business expanded, additional facilities were established across the region. The Asana Kotuwa hatchery became the backbone of an integrated production chain, enabling the Group to supply both eggs and broiler chickens at scale while maintaining consistent quality standards.

By the 2010s, Mam Farm House Pvt Ltd had grown from a single poultry yard into a recognized name in Sri Lanka's agricultural sector, with infrastructure spanning multiple districts and a workforce that had grown into the hundreds.

In 2023, Mam Farm House Pvt Ltd launched Mam Farm House Pvt Ltd Star Feed, a dedicated animal feed production facility at Puche Kele. This strategic move allowed the Group to control a critical input to its own poultry operations while simultaneously creating a new commercial revenue stream in Sri Lanka's broader agricultural market.

In parallel, the Group diversified into fashion retail with the establishment of Mam Farm House Pvt Ltd Fashion Mart and Garments, operating across Chilaw and Negombo with expansion plans underway for Kurunegala. The retail division carries exclusive brands including AK and Mad.

Today, Mam Farm House Pvt Ltd spans three distinct industries: poultry and hatchery production, animal feed manufacturing, and fashion retail. These divisions operate as integrated units, sharing leadership values and operational discipline across every level.

At the heart of Mam Farm House Pvt Ltd's success is its people. The Group employs over 800 professionals across all divisions, many of whom have built multi-year careers within the organization.
